John Kawaoka, M.D.

Dr. Kawaoka completed his undergraduate, medical degrees, and residency training at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to joining MARI, he saw patients and was the dermatology residency program director at Brown Dermatology. He has a focus on cutaneous oncology and has nearly 20 years of experience. Dr. Kawaoka is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Joined the practice in November 2026.
